Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 6, 2026. This policy covers the Regcrest website (regcrest.com), including the secure form we send clients to collect what a filing needs. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect.
When you use our contact form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, business name if you share it, and the details of your request.
What we collect when you place an order.
If you become a client, we send you a secure form to collect what your filing needs. Some state registrations require a Social Security number, an EIN, or a date of birth for owners and responsible officers. We ask for those only where that state's form requires them. We do not take payment card details on this website.
How we protect sensitive answers.
Social Security numbers, EINs, and dates of birth are encrypted before they are stored, our team sees only the last four digits day to day, and they are destroyed 90 days after your order is finished. Our security page explains this in full.
How we use it.
We use your information to respond to your request, prepare the services you ask for, and keep records of our work together. That is it.
What we do not do.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question.
Service providers.
We use trusted service providers to run this website, store data, and send email. They process your information only to provide those services to us.
Retention.
We keep contact requests as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal obligations, then delete them. Sensitive answers collected for a filing are destroyed 90 days after your order is finished, measured from your most recent completed order. The rest of the record, such as the states you registered in and the confirmations we filed, stays so we can help you next time.
Your choices.
You can ask us to show you or delete the information we hold about you. Use the contact form and tell us what you need.
Changes.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
